Abstract

Mengenalkan kegiatan sains anak usia dini, khususnya pada jenjang Taman Kanak-kanak, perlu dilaksanakan sebagai dasar pembentukkan karakter positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam kegiatan pengenalan sains. Subjek penelitian diseleksi dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara semi-terstruktur, pendokumentasian dalam bentuk foto maupun video, dan pengamatan. Hasil analisis data diuji keabsahannya menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat tujuh nilai karakter yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam kegiatan pengenalan sains anak usia dini.
