Abstract

Improvement of FABA soil properties can also be attempted by providing organic matter Tricodherma fungus in the form of compost. This study aims to determine the effect of giving Tricodherma and Bottom ash from coal waste on soil chemical properties, namely the growth pH of chili plants. This experiment used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 replications consisting of 4 treatment formulations, namely: D0 = bottom ash waste (200g); D1 = (100 g bottom ash + 100 g planting medium + 10 g Tricodherma sp); D2 = (50 g bottom ash + 150 g planting medium + 5 g Tricodherma sp), and D3 = (150 g bottom ash + 50 g planting medium + 15 g Tricodherma sp) with test parameters namely plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands ), number of roots (fruit), root length (cm), total biomass (g) and soil pH. The data obtained were then analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan's further test. The results showed that the average pH was acidic, which was below 7. The results of the analysis showed that the treatment formulations were significantly different in plant height, total biomass, and root length, but not significantly different in the number of leaves and a number of roots, D1 was the treatment with the most significant height difference. plant. The conclusions of this study show that the administration of Trichoderma sp and bottom ash from coal waste has an effect on pH and plant growth, namely plant height, total biomass, and root length, but has no effect on the number of leaves and the number of roots.
