Abstract

Factors that cause slowing of cell renewal due to the environment and intracellular and extracellular oxidative stress caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS) thereby accelerating skin aging which is characterized by wrinkles and skin pigmentation. Lulur is an extract of natural ingredients from plants used for beauty and cleansing the body of impurities and removing dead skin cells. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of preference for the combination of green coffee bean powder (Coffea Canephora) and yellow turmeric (Curcuma Domestica Val.). This study used the True Experimental Research method which consisted of green coffee beans and yellow turmeric with a total weight of 10 grams to get the best proportion results. The ratio used in this scrub consists of 9gram: 1gram; 7grams :3grams; 5grams : 5grams; 3grams : 7grams; 1 gram : 9 gram. The data were analyzed using One Way ANOVA with a level of 5% then continued with Duncan's test to find out the best treatment. The results showed that there was a significant effect on the real effect of the proportion of green coffee beans and yellow turmeric on the preference of the panelists produced in traditional scrub preparations, but there was no significant difference in the comparison of the preference levels of the panelists in each group. The panelists' preference level for traditional scrubs is P2 traditional scrub with a ratio of green coffee powder and yellow turmeric powder 7:3.
